Deputies arrested a 64-year-old man in Spring Valley last week after a vehicle search turned up methamphetamine, cash, money orders and property believed to be stolen, according to ABC 10News and the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies from the Rancho San Diego station contacted Bradley White on Friday morning while he was sitting in a vehicle in the 900 block of Gillespie Drive, sheriff’s officials said. Authorities said White had an active arrest warrant.
During the search, deputies reported finding 138 grams of methamphetamine in multiple bags, a digital scale, hundreds of empty baggies, $873 in cash, $7,035 in money orders, a replica firearm and two rounds of ammunition. Officials also reported finding collector coins, comic books, designer watches, silverware and jewelry that were suspected to be stolen.
White was booked into San Diego Central Jail on the warrant, suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale and being a felon in possession of ammunition, according to the report. Authorities said he was being held on $105,000 bail.
The Sheriff’s Office asked anyone who believes the suspected stolen property may belong to them to call the Rancho San Diego station at 619-660-7090.
