Santee Summer Concerts Kick Off Tonight With Drone Show

By Santee Pulse Staff · Published June 11, 2026 · 3 min read

Santee’s summer concert season begins tonight with free live music, family activities and a patriotic drone show at Town Center Community Park East.

The City of Santee says the Thursday night series runs from June 11 through Aug. 13, with no concert on July 2. Tonight’s kickoff features The Pistol Blonde at 6:30 p.m., followed by a drone show from 8 to 8:20 p.m. as part of the city’s America 250 celebration.

The city says food trucks and concessions will be available, and attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets. Dogs are allowed if they are well behaved, leashed and cleaned up after.

Parking may be tighter than usual because construction on the Santee Community Center has closed the YMCA footbridge and limited access from the YMCA lot. The city recommends arriving early, walking, biking or using alternate transportation when possible, with additional parking available at Santana High School.

The full summer lineup includes Journeymen on June 18, Electric Vinyl on June 25, Cheez Whiz on July 9, Cassie B on July 16, 1969 The Tribute on July 23, The Detroit Underground on July 30, The Sea Monks with National Night Out on Aug. 6 and BETAMAXX on Aug. 13, according to the City of Santee.
