A homicide investigation is underway in Santee after one man died and another man was injured Monday afternoon, according to ABC 10News and the San Diego County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies from the Santee Sheriff's Station responded around 2:10 p.m. to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon at a home in the 10,800 block of Grand Fork Drive, 10News reported. A man with traumatic injuries was found at the home and pronounced dead at 2:30 p.m.
Investigators also found a second man with traumatic injuries. He was taken to a hospital with injuries described as not life-threatening, arrested and questioned by investigators, according to the report.
