Santee residents can get rid of unwanted household items, shred documents and donate eligible goods during the city's Fall Community Cleanup, Shred & Donation Event on Sept. 26, according to Patch.

The event is scheduled from 8 a.m. to noon at Santee City Hall, 10601 Magnolia Ave. Residents will need to show proof of residency, and the city says limits and disposal restrictions apply.

Eligible donations will be accepted for Goodwill, giving residents a way to clear usable items without sending everything to disposal.
