Tickets are now on sale for Santee's Brews & Bites 21-and-older Festival Fundraiser, a Halloween-themed food and craft beer event scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 17, at Town Center Community Park East, according to the City of Santee.

The event is scheduled for 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. and will feature Jimmy's Buffet as the headliner. The city is encouraging attendees to wear costumes and says a costume contest will be part of the evening.

City officials said the vendor lineup is still being finalized, with participating food and beverage vendors to be updated on the event website. The city is urging residents to buy tickets in advance before they sell out.

Funds raised through Brews & Bites will benefit the Santee Teen Center, park improvement projects and the Recreation Scholarship Program, which helps qualifying Santee children, teens and seniors take part in city recreation programs.
