Santee will host a free outdoor screening of A Minecraft Movie on Friday, Sept. 19, at Town Center Community Park East, according to Patch and the City of Santee.

Pre-show entertainment is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. at the park, located at 550 Park Center Drive. The movie will begin at dusk.

Food and desserts will be available for purchase during the event, Patch reported. The city lists the screening as part of its local special events calendar.

For Santee families, the event adds another low-cost option to the September calendar at one of the city's central park spaces. Residents should check the city event page before heading out for any schedule updates.
