A 37-year-old North Park man was arrested after authorities said he mailed violent threats to three targets, including Valhalla High School and a home in El Cajon, according to Times of San Diego reporting based on the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies from the Sheriff’s Bomb/Arson Unit arrested the man Thursday evening after serving a search warrant at his residence in the 3100 block of Landis Street. Detectives from the Rancho San Diego Sheriff’s substation also obtained a gun violence restraining order prohibiting him from possessing firearms, Sgt. Matthew Moser said, according to the report.

The third target was a Chase Bank branch office in San Diego. Officials did not disclose the specific language of the alleged threats, but one charge cited death threats or threats of great bodily harm at a school.

The suspect was booked into San Diego Central Jail on multiple counts of issuing criminal threats and was being held without bail pending arraignment Tuesday afternoon.
