East County families looking to get out and enjoy the season have no shortage of options this April. East County Magazine rounded up a strong slate of upcoming events ranging from Easter activities and nature outings to arts performances and community celebrations.
In Campo, the Pacific Southwest Railway Museum is running Bunny Train rides on March 27-28 and April 5-6, with multiple departure times each day. For a wilder experience, the California Wolf Center in Julian is offering guided wolf tours each weekend in April. Spring is an active time for the wolves, and the tours offer a rare look at wolf behavior and conservation efforts. Reservations are required through californiawolfcenter.org.
