The Santee event starts at 4 p.m. and is expected to include food vendors, live entertainment, patriotic-themed desserts, red, white and blue light-up foam sticks, an America 250 photo marquee and fireworks at 9 p.m. Off-site parking and shuttle service will be available, according to the city event listing cited by East County Magazine.
Nearby, El Cajon plans July 4 fireworks at Kennedy Park at 9 p.m., with earlier family activities from 3 to 7 p.m. Lemon Grove will host an America’s 250th Anniversary Celebration from 4 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, July 3, at Treganza Heritage Park. Poway also has daytime activities at Old Poway Park and fireworks later that night.
For Santee residents, the key planning details are parking, shuttle timing and crowds near Town Center Community Park East. Families heading to other East County celebrations should check organizer pages before leaving because schedules, parking rules and fireworks details can change.
