Santee voters have until 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, to cast ballots or return mail ballots in California’s gubernatorial primary election, according to East County Magazine, citing the San Diego County Registrar of Voters.

More than 200 vote centers are open across San Diego County, and all vote centers, official ballot drop boxes and the Registrar of Voters office are scheduled to remain open until 8 p.m. on Election Day. Voters can use any vote center, not just one near their home address.

Services at vote centers include in-person voting, mail-ballot drop-off, same-day voter registration and accessibility support. The Registrar also provides ballot-marking devices, which print paper ballots for voters to review before they are placed in a ballot box for secure transport.

For Santee residents still deciding where to go, the Registrar’s online tool at sdvote.com lists vote-center locations and estimated wait times. Mail ballots returned through official drop boxes or vote centers must be submitted by 8 p.m. Tuesday; mailed ballots must be postmarked by June 2 and received within seven days.
