A free senior resource fair focused on health, safety and caregiving support is coming to Grossmont Healthcare District headquarters in La Mesa on Thursday, April 23. The event, titled "Spring into Healthy Living 2026: Senior Conference & Resource Fair," is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 9001 Wakarusa St.
According to East County News Service, the event is hosted by the San Diego East County Action Network and is intended to connect older adults and people with disabilities with healthcare providers and service organizations. The conference will include presentations on preventing falls, brain health and advance healthcare planning.
The report says representatives from Aging & Independence Services, food security initiatives and transportation advocates are expected to attend. The event is free, though organizers are encouraging early registration because speaking sessions have limited capacity.
People who want to attend can register by calling (858) 505-6435 or through the registration portal shared by organizers. Source: East County News Service via East County Magazine.
