How Santee-Area Residents Can Learn to Use San Diego County's Tell Us Now! App

By Santee Pulse Staff · Published April 10, 2026 · 3 min read

San Diego County residents will have a chance Monday to learn how to use the county's Tell Us Now! app at a free workshop in Spring Valley, just west of Santee. The session is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon April 13 at the Casa de Oro Library at 9805 Campo Road.

According to East County Magazine, the app lets residents submit GPS-tagged photos and details about issues such as potholes, flooded culverts, abandoned vehicles, graffiti, illegal dumping and other neighborhood problems directly into county systems. Users can then track the progress of their report in real time.

The workshop will explain how the app works, what kinds of issues can be reported and where county jurisdiction begins and ends. The event is being hosted by the office of Supervisor Monica Montgomery Steppe, and residents can register online before attending.

For Santee-area residents, the app could offer a quicker way to report problems spotted around East County roads, drainage areas and public spaces without guessing which department to call. More information about the app is also available through San Diego County's app center.
