East County voters will have a chance to hear from La Mesa mayoral and City Council candidates during a public forum scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 29, according to East County Magazine.

The forum is set for 6 to 8 p.m. at La Mesa First United Methodist Church, 4690 Palm Ave. East County Magazine reported that the event will include candidates running for mayor and candidates for City Council seats.

The mayoral field includes Councilmembers Laura Lothian and Patricia Dillard, former La Mesa Treasurer Jim Stieringer and business and executive consultant Quinn Reese, according to the report. Amanda-Dawn Natalia and Moana Alo are running unopposed for City Council seats.
