Better Buzz Coffee Roasters opened its newest Santee cafe Friday, adding a new stop for coffee and breakfast traffic along Cuyamaca Street.

The new shop at 8890 Cuyamaca St. opened at 4:30 a.m., with grand opening festivities scheduled to continue until 9 p.m., according to Patch. The opening gives Santee another location from a San Diego-born coffee chain that has expanded across Southern California, Arizona and Nevada.

To mark the opening, the Santee cafe is offering an exclusive White Chocolate Raspberry Best Drink Ever for the next 30 days. Patch reported that the drink is a variation on the chain's signature Best Drink Ever, topped with raspberry and white chocolate cold cream and finished with pink sugar.

The company also plans to introduce a seasonal Pina COOLAda on July 23, combining coconut and pineapple lemonade with blue spirulina green tea. For Santee residents, the opening adds another quick-service cafe option near one of the city's busier commercial corridors.
